From Morioka Station, you should go to the north exit. To get to the hotel, you will go over a bridge, across Kitakami river, and the scenery is just spectacular. It's about 14 minuets walk from Morioka station at a very lively area with lots of restaurants and izakayas, and it's very close to the castle (we took a taxi to get to the hotel and it was very cheap).
