The traditional dinner and breakfast were exquisite, beautifully presented and full of flavor. The location is perfect — walking distance to Nara Park and temples, yet quiet and serene. You might want to go to Himuro Shrine (氷室神社) for a quieter location to admire the cherry blossoms (during spring) and to feed the deer with less competition from other tourists! Is very busy and packed with tourists in peak season. The deer closer the entrance are very aggressive so will charge you and bite your clothes to get biscuits. Go further up the park to get some peace and quiet and meet calmer deer. Also, some tourists will feed wrappers and ice cream to the deer thinking it is funny.
