This hotel was amazing, the bed was comfortable, the room was big enough for me, the view from my room was simply incredible. Location was great too, and a konbini across the street? Score.

Middle class hotel next to the temple sites and the bus stop to Nikko station, so the location is convenient. Very friendly and helpful personnel. Rooms are quite spacious and clean but a bit dated: maintenance could be better. They have mountain view. The public bath in the basement is nice.

As advertised Very convenient location close to Nikko station Clean and very nice staff. Small room but to be expected in a regular Japanese hotel Not the best hotel in the world but great value for money

Everything was perfect! The room was clean and relatively spacious for Japan, including the bathroom. The location is excellent—just a 3-minute walk from Nikko Station. The staff is amazing and helpful with everything! There’s free luggage storage available before check-in and after check-out. The hotel has both indoor and outdoor onsen. They are clean, well-maintained, and open until late, which is great.

Family Room: Excellent location just opposite Tobu Nikko station / Nikko bus terminal and near a supermarket. There isn't a picture of the second room (a bedroom with a queen sized comfy bed) on booking.com (negligence on the hotel's part) but I assure you there is one, and it's quite good. The heating was enough (even though it was April, it snowed during our stay). The bathtub is quite long compared to most hotels in Japan.

Very close walking distances from Tobu Nikko station. It's a capsule hotel, but you have your own room for added privacy and space. The facilities looked clean. The onsen was good. There is a family mart right in front of it, and a supermarket close by in the back. The breakfast was good with many options to choose from.

A nice family feel to it. Close to Nikko Station and several food shops in the middle of the city center. In the first floor you can eat cheap Japanese food made by the hotel owners. Confortable bed, modern and cleaning bathroom and some common space for basic cooking.

Older hotel managed by friendly elderly couple. Room was spacious, bigger than average hotel in Japan, with beautiful well maintained tatami floors. Separate toilet from bathroom. No breakfast is provided on site, but it is easy to find eateries around the area, as the hotel is located directly across from Tobu Nikko Station. Highly recommended

Located ~800m from tobu-nikko station and tucked away just off main street, but not noisy at all. Cute, more traditional Japanese style home, however evidently old as per listing photos. Good and clean bathroom facilities. Reasonably roomy for 2 people and in comparison to some Japanese hotels/accommodation, however watch you head on the door frames if you're over 5'7"!

The hotel is in a beautiful spot in the woods and is in reasonable walking distance from the Tobu Nikkō station. The space is old and a bit worn but charming and the staff is great. It's a hotel with a feeling of a hostel for older people as there is a lounge for watching TV where you can meet and chat with other visitors, and tables where they serve breakfast and dinner. The french toast is always delicious. This is our second visit and we will always stay there whenever we go back to Nikkō.

This is an excellent hotel walking distance to the shore of the lake. It is very clean and staff is kind, attentive and supportive. They offer a shuttle bus once per day from Nikko Station. There are three hot pools, one inside and two outside. Japanese style rooms are big and very cozy.
