One of the best hotel design and concept i have seen so far. Beautiful large room, spotless clean with many modern touches, but also incorporating elements of a traditional japanese room which tipycally uses wood as a construction material. The hotel is located right in the middle of the former merchants quarter, surrounded by the most beautiful streets of Takayama. The train station is just 15 min away by foot. I wish i would have stayed more.

A great location, a short walk from both the train station and the old town. The room was a great size, well equiped, comfy beds and very clean. The staff were helpful and we enjoyed the complimentary sake.

This hotel is amazing. It is few steps from the station, few minutes walk from the center, the room was the most spacious I had during my three week travel to Japan. It also had a full equipped kitchen and a great washing machine.
