The hotel is in oku nikko which surrounded by nature. If you love nature or snow in winter. This is a perfect place to stay. Outside Onsen also surrounded by snow but unfortunately we cannot see the star that day.

Hosts were extremely nice, very helpful and very polite. Food was amazing, for around 20 USD the hotel provided a four-course meal with local fish and vegetables that were cooked to near perfection. The environment is perfect for long hikes (even with the snow), and I would definitely recommend this hotel for people looking for rest, hiking and a typical Japanese experience.
