The breakfast portion was very generous, and I ate my fill. There was a variety of dishes, and the tamagoyaki seemed to be freshly made—it was hot. In the morning, having a bowl of miso soup with rice along with various side dishes made my stomach very comfortable. The evening kaiseki meal is also lavish, with very fresh sashimi. I recommend the beef. The hotel also recommends other restaurants and scenic routes.

Great room, comfortable bed. In room hot spring bath overlooking the ocean was very special. I had a spa treatment which was really good and the manager was so nice and accommodating. The beach has beautiful white sand and the water is so clear. Food in the restaurant was excellent.

The location was very nice. It’s right across from Family Mart and the beach is behind the Family Mart. I had a nice view from my room and could see the water. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was clean and quiet, perfect for a solo trip around the Christmas holiday. I think that this place has an excellent charm to it, which you can see as soon as you walk in the door. I love the decorations in the common area and seating as well as the panda decorations. I’m so happy I chose to stay here. It wasn’t terribly crowded and my room was very nice, with a well-functioning thermostat, and a bathroom in my room. The bed was comfy, and I also had access to a TV, couch, desk, and a variety of lighting in my room. It was exactly what I needed for the weekend. If you have an opportunity to stay here, I definitely recommend it. As a bonus, it’s right near Shirahama Bus Center, which makes travel super easy!! Quick bus ride from Shirahama Station, which has a lot of lines linking up to Shin-Osaka. I took advantage of the location to get to Adventure World, and navigation was fairly easy. Wonderful trip, warm thank you to the woman at the front desk. She was very helpful, informative, and accommodating.

    The owners were very helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable. The well equipped shared kitchen is spacious and offers a large fridge with freezer as well as a table for having dinner with four people. We would definitely come back. It is only a short drive to the zoo and other activities as well as shirahama beach and the beautiful coastline.

    The room is very spacious, and the bathroom is large. We booked a twin Japanese-style room, which is a good size for two and also comes with a kitchen. There are two couches that can be converted into beds if needed, but we used them to relax and watch TV comfortably while a typhoon arrived. The TV can stream Netflix and YouTube, which was great. The hotel is only a 10-minute walk to Shirahama Beach, though the slope is quite steep.

    The hotel is 5 minutes on foot from the Shirahama Beach and the town center with the onsets, shops and restaurants. The staff is very helpful (and speaks reasonable english) and friendly. On the day of our departure, we where given a complimentary transfer to the train station. We asked for a taxi - we got a car with a driver from the hotel. The hotel has everything you need. A pool, 2 large restaurants (however expensive) a massive lobby and the location.

    Very nice apartment with pretty much everything you would need - except basic cooking supplies like salt, oil, pepper... super clean, nice and supportive staff (who even got us some basic cooking supplies from the restaurant next door). About 10-5min walk to the Shirahama beach.

    Excellent service by the staff who checked us in. And overall service as well was top notch. Other than the main entrance, this hotel is old and really needs some sprucing up. My room had cobwebs outside the window. And just looks old and worn. If I didn’t have to pay so much for it, I wouldn’t have mind. Location wise it’s a nice place to stay if one intends to be at Shirahama beach.

    This is a really unique place to stay. We stayed in the traditional Japanese room, it was really nice with a lot of little details like pictures and fresh flowers. The staff was the most amazing, communicative and helpful. We even received a little gift of congratulations after we mentioned this was our honeymoon. Thank you so much! The place is really close to a lot of restaurants, convenience stores and the Shirahama beach but it is still in a calm street and we felt at peace there.

    The guesthouse Shirahama was quiet and very comfortable because it had a Japanese home atmosphere. And the host was very kind. The location is only 5 minutes from Shirahama Beach. If I go to Shirahama again, I want to stay there again.
