The hotel is new and clean, the rooms and bathrooms are spacious and well equiped and the breakfast is excellent with lots of choices and fresh food. The staff are friendly and ready to help. The area around the hotel consists of residential and office buildings, but the streets are quiet and walkable.

We loved the breakfast! There was so much variety and so many quality ingredients, and we actually said "This is one of the best hotel breakfasts we've ever had.". The location was quiet! It's a bit further out than central Oslo, but that was our intention, as we wanted a place with good parking facilities so that we could easily park the car and get an early start for our long drive the next day. Staff was also very accommodating.

The hotel was lovely, great staff and breakfast was delicious. The room was comfy and cozy with a lot of space ✨️ The welcome staff gave me a room upgrade and allowed me to check in early with minimal charge, this was extremely helpful! This is also very close to public transport or if to want to walk to Grünerløkka its 15 min walk. Thanks!

The hotel is located at a central location close to Aker Brygge with walking distance to the waterside. Check in was easy, you'll need to unlock the doors with your phone. The room was clean and well decorated, and well equipped. We got a nice view of the greenery across the road. The bathroom was very spacious. We'd recommend this hotel.

FAQs about hotels in Oslo

Into the Wild in Oslo

Spreading for hundreds of miles from the mouth of the Oslofjord, Oslo is the largest city by area in Europe and is liberally covered in pristine forests rising up into the outlying hills. South of the unassuming city hall lies a vibrant waterfront known as Aker Brygge, which in summer is full of bustling outdoor restaurants and bars.

For the prettiest buildings head to affluent inner-city suburbs of Frogner and Fagerborg, or admire the traditional Scandinavian wooden houses of Bygdøy and Holmenkollen. Monumental buildings include the Royal Palace which runs daily tours and the Akershus Festning, which is a medieval castle that also served as a military base and provides impressive views of the Oslofjord. Oslo City Hall, or rådhus, offers even more distinctive architecture and it is the location of the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony.

Nature is never far away in Oslo which is ringed by an archipelago of islands which are extremely popular in summer. Hiking, kayaking and sailing are all easily achievable within the city limits. Just as popular are the many museums. The national Museum houses Edvard Munch’s famous painting The Scream and Viking Ship Museum containing long-lost relics from Norway’s Viking past.

From downtown Sentrum to the Oslo Airport Gardermoen to the stunning statues in Frogner Park, Booking.com has over 80 hotels and other accommodations available.

A city that is not too big (it's walkable to most attractions, if you like walking), but has a lot packed into it. If you like culture then the Munch and National museums are both excellent and you may find yourself spending longer in them than anticipated. Being Scandinavia, it's generally clean with little litter. Yes, it's more expensive than back home in the UK, but not eye-wateringly so. For alcohol I would recommend buying cans from a supermarket (a little over £2 a can) rather than the £8 plus for under a pint in the bars.

Oslo is a beautiful walking-friendly place, friendly people and wonderful variety of activities to enjoy. I had wonderful food there, saw great art, and did some exploring via tour bus and ferry due to the brevity of my stay there. I would've loved to stay at least one or two more days to see sights there and out of town. I was there for three nights. I hope to return.

Only a day and a half stay in Oslo and a longer stay would have been better as there is a lot to see. Easy to get around the city and plenty of excellent cafe's and restaurants. People are very friendly and overall a very pleasant place to visit, will try and make a further visit in the future for a longer stay.

Oslo is full of wonderful historical building buildings like the Royal Palace, City Hall, the parliament buildings, as well as a great modern art museum. The architecture is exceptional. The city is clean and lively without being overwhelming. The Vigeland sculpture park and garden is also definitely worth a visit.

Clean, beautiful city - albeit a bit expensive but that is expected given Norway status as a developed country. The Fjords were splendid, as we had a boat trip which I'd say everyone should take as it's a beautiful experience as a whole. Can't wait to go back there again!

I don't think there is any other hotel in Europe or for that matter anywhere else in the world that serves caviar at the breakfast buffet..my favourite pickled herring was also available and the organic butter was so tasty! Breakfast hosts George Favali and Oluwambe were just spectacular.... Room was spacious... Location is 5 star next to Parliament and Karl Johann shopping street and near to the jetty for a quick fjord boat tour...

Location of hotel was vey nice and peaceful with quick easy tram link to the city centre, the hotel was extremely clean and very stylish and had a boutique feel to it, the breakfast and dinner was of excellent quality and choice thoroughly enjoyed it all and you could have as much as you liked. All the staff were very warm, kind friendly and helpful. The room although a little dated was comfortable and clean as was the bed.

The hotel itself is lovely and grand and lush, however the rooms, or the room we stayed in was abit dated and needed a renovation, just signs of age and needing a refurbish. The staff were so lovely and accommodating, definitely the service of a 5 star hotel. However I would say that the room itself was lacking
