The hotel was located right by the water, and we had a nice view firm our window. The breakfast buffet was amazing with many great choices. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We got a very quiet room, very comfortable bed had a great night sleep. Breakfast is really good with lots of choices. The location is perfect - walking distance to all attractions and restaurants and 5 minutes to the ferry. Paid for parking at the hotel, parked the car and just walked directly to the hotel through the back door. Very satisfied with my stay.

Great location. Super comfy beds and cool rainfall shower with luxurious amenities. The breakfast is not a breakfast. It’s a major feast. Excellent value for the nightly rate. Really knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Friendly & helpful staff. We could check in on arrival, because the room was ready. That was a 10/10 moment thinking of the guest and not some clock rule. The breakfast buffet was the best we have encountered in our trip. I loved the ambient lighting / design and mood of the breakfast area, it was quiet and peaceful. This was our second time in Citybox. Both times we came to the hotel after midnight and were let inside in less than a minute! This means a lot when you travel with a baby. The room was very clean. The staff is pleasant and helpfull. Easy self check-in. We will definitely stay here next time we visit Kristiansand!
