The dinner at the lodge restaurant was absolutely exquisite. The 5-course degustation was a highlight of our stay, showcasing a perfect blend of flavours and presentation. The setting and views from the lodge added a magical touch to the dining experience.

The property is in a vineyard and most rooms oversee a nice grape + tree + lake view. I stayed at Aoraki suite which is very spacious, clean and comfortable. There is daily complimentary cheese board - minibar, chips and a bottle of rose are also complimentary. I tried the “Trust the Chef” dinner at the estate which is very good. Quality food plus reasonably priced wine pairing / wine menu. Breakfast was good - continental plus a la carte. Last but not least, at the retreat suite there is a very nice lobby, infinity pool and hot tub.

The view was very nice. We could see the Wanaka lake from the room's balcony. The hotel seems to have all the facilities you need. We visited in February so it was a bit warm so the hotel provided us a fan which helped us at night. The bathroom had a heater which was nice for the cold morning.

We had a beautiful welcome by the lady at the reception. The rooms, view and all the amenities were perfect. We arrived on the Christmas day so most of the town & the hotel restaurant was closed and we were well informed of this by the property. The property is walking distance from the Town centre. It also overlooks a vineyard. There are good walking & bicycle trails around the property plus few fruit orchards along with vineyards. The lady at the reception is very helpful and had all the information regarding the cafes that would be open for breakfast given it was a boxing day holiday.

    Location was great, close to the entrance to Cardrona Ski Fields. Staff were incredible and so kind when my friend broke her arm. Coffee was also great (and we are from Melbourne Australia famous for their coffee). We had an amazing dinner in the restaurant and would love to stay at the hotel again next year. Thank you

    Very friendly and helpful hosts. Nice breakfast served fresh every morning. Bed was very comfortable which was perfect after a day on the slopes. Perfectly located a 2 min drive from the drive up to Cardrona. Also very close to the general store and Cardrona Hotel.

    Beautiful villa in fantastic condition. Great location, a stone's throw away from the infamous Cardrona Hotel. I came here for a wedding and it was a perfect place to stay, with all the things you need to get ready for a wedding (iron, washing machine etc)! Parking onsite was also very easy if you're renting a car.

    This accommodation is amazing. It's a great location, in between wanaka and queenstown and a short walk to the cardrona hotel. By far the best accommodation we've ever stayed in and excellent value.

    Dinner at The Cardrona Hotel was excellent. The food was delicious especially the Beef Wellington. Our apartment was beautiful. It was 100 m up the road from the pub and brand new. Very comfortable and well equipt and styled.
