Isle of ManEven though the hotel reception and restaurant building is under construction, we had great communications from the hotel explaining everything and offering us a meal in our chalet instead of the restaurant. The food was delicious! The breakfast was lovely in our room too. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was great for access to the Milford Sound tours. There are friendly Kea who come to say hello too! Beautiful view from our chalet couldn't have a price on it. Lovely stay all in all.

Milford Sound
Carved out by glaciers during the ice age, this remote fjord was first discovered over 1,000 years ago by Maoris, who returned seasonally to collect the prized greenstone. The dramatic waterway runs 15 km inland from the Tasman Sea, bringing penguins, dolphins and seals. The sheer cliffs form 1,000-metre-tall peaks, often plunging waterfalls back down into the dark waters of the Sound.
