Igreja de Santa Cruz plaza is less than a block away at the head of the main downtown pedestrian street (Rua Visconde da Luz. Absolutely everything we needed was within a short walk. The apartment is just at the bottom of the hill from the University of Coimbra as well. The apartment itself is easy to find and access with the name on the front of the building. It was nice to have our own little apartment vs a hotel room, and we enjoyed breakfast at the table under the beautiful windows in the morning while we planned our day. The location is fantastic and is right next to the aqueduct, botanic gardens (must visit!!) and University of Coimbra. We found several nice restaurants and pubs nearby, too.
