Lovely quiet centrally located hotel. This hotel has charm that you don’t often find in hotels nowadays. Staff were very helpful, friendly and relaxed and there is delicious cake available with the complimentary coffee in the lobby each day. Would certainly recommend and will stay there again for our next visit.

Great hotel located above the Central Railway Station right in the heart of Gothenburg. The room was a decent size and very comfortable. It is very quiet and there is no noise from the trains. The breakfast is one of the better hotel breakfasts we have had. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, supermarkets and an easy walk to see the sights of Gothenburg. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Staff were excellent, really welcoming and helpful. Rooms were different an old worldly in terms of style but that is definitely part of Hotel Eggers charm. My bed was unbelievably comfortable. I missed breakfast as had an early train to catch but could grab tea, fruit or chocolate at reception before I left. Excellent location. I loved it and will likely go back if I'm lucky enough to.

It is opposite the train station. Everything was clean, the staff was very friendly and willing. The communication was very quick. Bonus was a pool with a sauna opened till late night. The family room was very spacious and well equipped. We really enjoyed the breakfast which consisted of various foods. We could keep our backpacks in a locked room.
