A very nice hotel! Excellent breakfast!

absolutely everything! stylish, extremely comfortable, clean, fantastic location, and super helpful and very kind staff. I have a quite strict diet and when I asked the lady at the breakfast buffet which dishes were gluten free and vegan she not only pointed them out and explained what was what, but also brought me a slice of special gluten free and vegan brownie which they didn’t have out that day - all warmed up and delicious with morning coffee. My stay was absolutely fabulous and made my work trip super cozy and comfortable.

Beautiful cozy clean bright room, the hotel is very well situated, right in the city center, 8 mins walk from metro and 15 mins from Cental Station. There’s a great brunch spot Gast around the corner, was waking up late and skipped the hotel breakfasts :) The receptionists are very welcoming. I liked everything about this hotel

The Stockholm Stadshotell is - without exaggerating - one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. We chose this hotel because of its location (Södermalm, highly recommended, not too touristy, but lively with lots of restaurants, terraces and other nice places) and the beautiful minimalist Scandinavian interior. We got so much more than we had expected. Starting with the rooms: the beds are large and comfortable with very soft bedding. Our bathroom was spacious with a lovely shower. Everything was clearly brand new, and the styling has been thought out down to the last detail. Also nice: a well-stocked minibar with good snacks and drinks (among others olives, popcorn, champagne). The facilities are also very good. There is a sauna (including a cold bath) which you can reserve for yourself for 1.5 hours (even the sauna area is styled to perfection). On the beautiful terrace at the front of the hotel, you can enjoy one of the many cocktails served in the bar (from classics to new discoveries). And I would definitely recommend going to the hotel restaurant (for either breakfast or dinner). The restaurant has a nice bistro vibe and the food is prepared with love and of good quality (we especially enjoyed the croissant and French toast during the breakfast). Finally: the service is top-notch and personal. The hotel staff is sweet and interesed: they like to chat, ask how your day was when you return at the hotel. This kind of personal contact is something we don't see that often anymore in hotels. Tea or coffee will be brought to your room upon request and as an extra touch (for Midsommar) we received flowers in our room. Long story short: if you're going to Stockholm, stay at this hotel!

The location is a bit further away from the city center, but it wasn't a problem, because the metro was close, also the neighborhood was really nice and quiet, there was a grocery shop (ICA) near the Asspuden metro station. We didn't eat the breakfast from the hotel, bet since our room had I very nice and spacious kitchen area we could make our own breakfast (note that there is no stove just a microwave) and store our food in a fridge. The room was small, but very well organized and planned, the bed was in a "nook" and the rest was for the livingroom/kitchenette area. The bathroom was good too - great water pressure :) All in all a very great place to stay in Stockholm, probably if I visit Stockholm sometime soon, would stay there again.

Breakfast was great! Under construction, but still very comfortable.
