I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Roi in Izmir. The staff was extremely welcoming and made sure I felt at home from the moment I arrived. Very pleasantly surprised by this little hidden gem! The hotel is family owned, and well connected the neighborhood surrounding it. The entrance is on a very narrow road, so you will need to unload quickly if you travel by car. The hotel has a deal with a nearby parking lot to park for free. The lot seems busy, but it's safe and the staff are kind. Everyone seems very connected to each other in this neighborhood, so it's easy to make friends. The room was very cozy! Nice, hot showers, comfortable beds and a Smart TV with accessibility to lots of different streaming channels. There is no elevator, but the stairs are well lit. There is a small cafe with a few tables in the lobby, and Breakfast is available for a fee. We greatly appreciated the kindness of the staff.
