Hotels near Ruifang Train Station, Jiufen

A lovely area and beautiful design. It was a quick one-night stop, but it had everything we needed. The kids loved the big tub in the bathroom. They also loved the huge Jenga game, the rocking horses, and the kayak in the hotel lobby, stopping for a game every time we passed by. The hotel offers parking, which we used, and a lovely store with some cool condiments and teas. Very good value for money.

The hotel looks exactly as in the pictures. The owners really put an effort in the interior design. It is lovely! The common areas in the third and first floor are amazing Rooms are neat and tidy and the staff is super friendly. Location is also pretty good, a couple steps from Jiufen Old Street. 10/10!

Extremely nice themed room (stayed in Hello Kitty themed room), very comfy with extra living room and glass roof, breakfast provided with warm soy milk, good location with nice view from the terrace (just short walk up hill from juifen old street), mosquito screens in front of each window, very nice owners

Clean and comfortable bed with light and curtain. Lockers water dispenser and wide area to hung out. The location was at the bus stop and 4 min walk from train station. Staff was vary friendly and helpful

We loved this place and everything about it. The host is lovely—she gave us many recommendations, ensured we knew what trains to take for our outings, gave us small gifts and goodies, offered to help us get laundry washed, and provided flexibility with check in and check out. All this she did with patience and a smile, even though we could not speak Mandarin and had to rely on translation apps. The location is excellent—walking distance to several buses and trains to nearby Jiufen, Shifen Waterfall, Bitoujiao, Keelung, and other great spots. The room itself is quiet, comfortable, and spacious with great lighting. It seems very clean and modern, with nothing out of date and everything functioning perfectly. It is well-appointed and nicely laid out. Guests have access to water, a refrigerator, a tea kettle, coffee, and fast/consistent WiFi. The toiletries and soaps were luxury, and we took note of the shower gel in particular so we can buy it to take home. This place is exceptional value, easy to book and find, and offered us complete privacy and autonomy. The host provided great communication from our initial booking until we said goodbye. Overall we give this hotel our highest recommendation—it was our favorite hotel of the 4 we stayed in on our visit throughout the island. The next time we come to the Taipei area, we will stay here.
