The hotel owner was very kind and gave us an upgrade when we arrived. Our room had an uninterrupted view of the Central Mountain range and it was fortunate that the skies were clear during our two days there. She also gave us suggestions on what to do on LINE right after we arrived, so we could plan our itinerary. The food was also was excellent! For breakfast, there was a mix of Chinese and Western food, such as congee, turnip cake, stir-fried noodles, fried eggs, toast, coffee, and much more. Dinner was also good - my family especially enjoyed the steamed fish (which tasted very much like authentic Cantonese style food), the Yunnan minced pork and lettuce rolls, and the fresh stir-fried cabbage. Would definitely revisit if I go to that area of Taiwan again!

    Very good location, 5 to 10 mins walks to reach bus stop, nearby 7-11 store, Starbucks, Mos Burger, Cingjing Small Swiss Garden. We had a wonderful stay. Great mountain view from room balcony. Room was spacious & clean and served very good breakfast. Very warm and hospitable staffs.

    The staff was very helpful, friendly and patient. The room was spacious for three of us and the view of the mountains from the balcony was gorgeous. The breakfast was also hearty and delicious. The facilities and amenities in the room were a little aged but it did not bother us much. The guesthouse is less than 10minutes walk away from small swiss garden, a 24 hour 7-eleven and mist plaza where we had our dinner and snacks. The road leading to the mist plaza could get quite dark in the night though.
