The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The breakfast and evening kickback plus daily free 3 alcoholic drinks for adults are great. Although the menu doesnt change much, its still value for money - My kids loved making their own mickey waffles at breakfast. There is also a pay-per use laundry room which we used once. The shuttle services are great too and on time. My boy also liked the arcade at level 1.

The receptionists at the front desk were so friendly and we loved Gary who sold tickets for Disney and Universal in the lobby. Their breakfast had the most options I have seen, and I've stayed in quite a few hotels. We also liked that they switch a few of the options so each day you might get to try something new. Rooms were clean and housekeeping was on point every single day. Having the coffee/tea/hot chocolate bar available 24/7 was also nice. They have a free shuttle to Disney, Universal and Seaworld which is very convenient. There is also a shuttle to 2 of the outlet plazas if you want to go shopping. The cost to stay here was more than reasonable, and I say that considering the fact that I've paid more at other hotels and did not get this standard.

It was ok. It is like walking around an outside mall. It would be nice if WDW would allow you to walk around it earlier in morning. We were not allowed in the area until 9am. We were going for breakfast and felt that was kind of late entry. Also the World of Disney store did not open until 10 am, which I feel is also kind of late for those flying out and wanting last minute gifts.

It's nice that they added parking garages and some cool stores it just doesn't have the same feel and excitement it once had. It used to be so much fun in down town now not so much we hit our classic stores we have always visited and a few of the resturants you can keep the rest.

What guests said about Downtown Disney District:

  • Plan out your visit to parks.

Plan out your visit to parks. For family's it's worth buying fountain cups for free refills all day& souvenir popcorn for refills during your stay. Diagon Alley is best seen in morning& later in day. Park to park tickets needed to ride Hogwarts express. Packed lunches avoid need to get overpriced fast food each day. Downtown Disney is a letdown and is undergoing renovations until next year, while lynx is $2, taxi or shuttle is much easier
