Duval St. is a main street in Key West, however one Street over, which runs parallel to Deval is Whitehead St. The famous Hemming way house, a must see, is on Whitehead St. Which runs from the most Southern point in the US to the far end of Key West. Where the action is. Great to just walk around or rent a bicycle/tricycle. They are pretty much given the right of way on the old town roads. Visit the Key Lime Store and eat some Key Lime pie. We had a huge apartment with a wraparound balcony on Duval street. This “house” yes it was that big…. was much more than we expected. Free parking on a small parking lot 2 minutes away from the hotel This place oozes Old Town Key West in a good way. Not the tourist part but the nostalgic housing from 20th century.
