Amazing hotel. A lot of thought was put into the design and the place is simply beautiful. Everything from the reception to the lobby, bar, elevators, and the room are charmingly decorated like an airplane hangar. Each room entrence has his own is "flight number". The staff is welcoming, 24/7 they are ready to help, they will answer any question and request. The hotel and room are spotlessly clean. The room is great equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave, iron, hair dryer, quality TV, an interactive mirror in the shower that can be connected to the laptop and listen to music in the shower. A large and luxurious shower Plenty of free parking. Stunning swimming pool, in a shape of a guitar. A well-equipped gym open 24/7. A laundry room with a coin-operated washer and dryer at a more reasonable cost. Breakfast at the bar, very tasty but a little expensive. Excellent location, near the airport, everything needed is nearby, from food and restaurants to shops. About a quarter of an hour drive from the hotel to downtown. In the mornings we drove our car and in the evening we took an Uber. We had a great time, highly recommended!

Ryman Auditorium

There’s a real understated beauty to this 14th-century town hall. A pointy, slender main space comes to a tip along the tiled gable, and the tower pokes into the sky with picture-postcard elegance. Inside, mediaeval memorabilia abounds, from frescoes to statuettes. Definitely one where you need to bring your camera.

    Beautiful architecture with rich history.

    Beautiful architecture with rich history. As a newcomer or tourist I had to differentiate the Ryman and the Grand Ole Opry. They are often referred to as both, thus leaving the assumption they are one and the same. The Grand Ole Opry is a separate building approximately 11 miles away from the Ryman. The history regarding the separation of the two helps clarify the entities.

    While I enjoyed my visit, the displays aren't the most...

    While I enjoyed my visit, the displays aren't the most impressive (For Nashville anyway) and while the video is very well made that by itself is not worth the admission price. Seeing the historic auditorium itself is pretty cool if you aren't actually going to a show there. If you are seeing a show there it's probably not worth the backstage tour. As I said though, I liked it.

    Make sure you watch the video when you first come in to the Ryman! It was very insightful. I loved learning about how the Ryman came to be and all about its restoration. Don’t forget to go inside the Johnny Cash bus outside.

    The Front Desk staff were very friendly and accommodating especially the young lady who checked us in Thursday evening. She took the time to give us a brief talk on what to visit and to eat namely Prince's Hot Chicken located in the Assembly Food Hall, the Ryman Auditorium and African American Music Museum. We also enjoyed the hot breakfast.
