Customs clearance took 1h30 min in JFK.

Customs clearance took 1h30 min in JFK. So very long when it is hot weather to enter to USA from Manchester United Kingdom. No taxes back available for collection inside the Irish terminal 5 or 7 at JFK airport when flying back to Dublin Ireland so very disappointed about this in comparison to La Guardia airport 28 years ago. Did the law change? Very weird and inconvenient for non US residents. This inconvenience should be fixed by local and federal authorities of NYC.
