I have booked this hotel several times but this is my very first stay near Christmas and New Year time, which is amazing. I mean there is nothing to complain about La Cascada staff and services, but this time I could literally soak up the festive atmosphere. From Hang Ma Street to the local market on the way to this hotel, local people put up so many decorative stuff for sale, and also for decoration, I guess. The whole street looked really amazing and I could immerse myself in the vibrant vibe there, which is truly the highlight of my stay. About the room I booked, the one with a railway view, which could be a bit noisy as my first thought. However, to my surprise, the noise-cancelation window worked very well, as I could barely notice a noise from outside, All in all, my stay at La Cascadea was worth every penny, and I would definitely come back here.

The hotel is well located centrally in Hanoi, with many eating places close by, and easy access to many Hanoi attractions. The premises are clean and nicely kept, the hotel staff is friendly. David the manager was particularly welcoming, very friendly and exceptionally helpful. He gave advice on where to eat, what to do in Hanoi and recommended attractions to visit in the city. He also helped organise a beautiful full day extremely enjoyable trip to Halong Bay.

Good location, comfortable hotel and amazing staff. The manager Lana was always very accessible and responsive via Whatsapp and helped us plan our trip. Lana and the other hotel staff takes customer service at heart and treat you as a valuable guest. Good variety at breakfast which starts as from 6.30am, so very practical when leaving for early morning tours. You cannot go wrong with this boutique hotel with personalised service.

I loved riding around west lake visiting obscure coffee shops, playing cards and board games with friends. A beautiful sunset over the lake is amazing to capture. Along with a visit to the local temple. You also can’t pass up a local coconut (Kem) ice cream 🍦.

Its a big lake and everything around it are few and far...

Its a big lake and everything around it are few and far between, we went there for lunch, found a nice mexican (of all things) and a nice park, a more authentic spot with markets but mainly is residential.

It is a nice walk from the Train Street if you don’t mind...

It is a nice walk from the Train Street if you don’t mind dealing with millions of scooters. First you stop at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and from there you have 15 minutes to get to the lake. You will walk through the very nice neighborhoods where most embassies seem to be located. There is a nice trail around the lake where you can observe local sport fishermen.

I had a great stay at My Home. The apartment was very clean, beautifully decorated, and fully equipped – exactly like the photos. It felt cozy and modern, with everything you need: washing machine, kitchen, fridge, strong A/C. The location is peaceful and just a short walk from West Lake. Lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby. The host was kind and responsive. Check-in was smooth. I would definitely stay here again!

Such a peaceful and elegant place to stay. The wooden details and natural light from the balcony and windows gave the apartment a warm, calming vibe. Just a short stroll from cafés and West Lake.

The place has a wonderful view overlooking West Lake. I stayed in a room for 4 people, and each of us had our own locker. They were really spacious, enough of at least 2 suitcases Hong Anh was very helpful throughout my stay I also really enjoyed visiting Echoes Bar and The Good Thrift Shop nearby
