This is one of the most beautiful places on the peninsula.
This is one of the most beautiful places on the peninsula. Allow 3-4 hours on n clear open day to enjoy. The flying dutchman (funnicilar) is always special or walk up all the way if you are fit. The place was neat and comfortable and well-equipped. We were surrounded with stunning beaches like Boulders beach (watching the penguins) and Windmill beach where we snorkelled. Down, across the road, we watched the sunrise from the very same rocks which our balcony overlooks. It is a short drive (about 20 min) to Cape Point and Cape of Good Hope. Good, big pillows! But what makes the place really amazing is the staff… the ladies and gentlemen that work at the front desk are extremely accommodating, kind, helpful and professional. They are the heart and soul of this hotel! The hotel is in a beautiful location, very central. We walked a lot, and did a lot of driving to boulders beach, cape point etc. we had a lovely stay.
