We were warmly welcomed by the owners who were incredibly friendly. The time we spent at the house was absolutely lovely and we wish we could have stayed there forever. The views were breathtaking and the atmosphere was peaceful, quiet and safe. Everything we needed for a relaxing vacation was provided and it was the perfect place to rejuvenate and rest. The units were perfectly engineered and the interiors were tastefully designed with attention to detail. Everything we could have possibly needed was provided. The rooftop deck offered stunning 360-degree views and was an amazing spot to take in the scenery. We rented a mini car, and the 5-mile gravel road was manageable. We truly loved this place!

The hotel is in a beautiful location. Saw wildlife every day. Security is excellent. Nothing is a problem for the staff and the food is out of this world. The ‘caves’ are luxurious and have every extra that you would need.

The game drive and the quad rides were amazing!!! Our guide Vuzi was amazing, we learned so much from him! He is the best! For all of our food and dining needs we were met with the utmost satisfaction Emmanuel, John and Ayanda took care of us for most of our stay. The rest of the staff was so awesome and kinda! They took the best care of us. Thank you so much 26 degrees!!

It was the perfect place to stay after 30 hours between flight and layover! The place is serene, clean, comfortable and has everything so that as a first day in South Africa was pretty convenient. The restaurant food was good and the cherry on top was the amazing massage at the spa!

The hosts were extremely attentive to our needs and we loved the location and the settings. It is an amazing facility, offering privacy and excellent service. Everything is very nicely decorated and you have everything you may need for the stay. Very friendly and attentive staff.

Beautiful, rustic and clean. Lovely unique cottage with a beautiful view and a quiet, relaxing feel. There is a small pool and private braai area, any everything you need in the kitchen. Comfy lounge and breakfast nook. We would have loved to stay longer.

I want to live here!

I want to live here! It's peaceful, quiet, I have never experienced silence like that. It was beautiful. The apartment itself was a home away from home. Everything was well thought out, the deco, having everything available for convenience, a gas heater for cold nights, fully equipped kitchen and a gas grill outside, a plunge pool to cool off for hot days/nights, games, a really cool picnic spot, a boma to go make a fire and hang out... I can't type it all out man, just go experience this place. It's the perfect getaway to recharge, relax and just unwind.

It is a self catering farmstay.

It is a self catering farmstay. The location is easier to find. Gert and Driene are so welcoming and loving, they go beyond their way to make sure you enjoy their beautiful property. Who ever put together the design of the house is a perfectionist because every piece compliment each other. Don't make a mistake of booking one night but if you do! Have the decency of arriving check in time. There is a variety of animals you will see. If you are a bird lover please pack your binoculars, you will thank me later. I yen to be a poet, i would describe this place with grace. After visiting Motubane, i believe some places God lives there in silence.

Thrilled by the setting.

Thrilled by the setting. The sunrises and sunsets made for every photographer's dream captures. Hosts were amazing. All you need is your food and sundowners to enjoy an African farm stay. Nothing rudimentary about this off-grid accommodation. The guest's comfort was carefully considered in the creation of this beauty.

Booking.com. The placce is named Alto Log Cabin, not Madeteleli. Confirm it with the owners, When I spoke to the owners they had never heard of Madeteleli. But Alto Log Cabin’s first impression was clean and a looked after cabin. It was very nice.
