If you are a nature lover, this is the place for you! The lodge and park guides help to make the visit an adventure and a learning experience. Night hikes, boating to a remote hiking area, trails that are easily accessible were especially appreciated. The lodge is warm, comfortable, and welcoming. We were always asked what time we wanted to have breakfast. We stayed over Newyear's eve and New years day. And they arranged for a delicious meals to be brought to the lodge for us during a time many restaurants were closed. Parking was in a gated area and very secure. they have cat and dogs that were very friendly, but were kept outside our entire stay. The owners kept in contact with us prior to arriving.
