The surroundings and ambiance, the constant sound of the stream running right next to our open room, the different birds chirping all the time, the loose and relaxed approach of Polo and the rest of the staff, but extremely professional. The food presentation and flavours were marvellous and the chocolate Polo makes, exquisite. And of course Sildo and his helpful donkey.

This place is just out of this world. From the minute you arrive the view is breathtaking, it's so calm, relaxing and just amazing. All the information you receive before arriving is extremely useful and Eli is so kind, friendly and welcoming. I wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the space more. The internet is also brilliant when you consider you are in the middle of the jungle it's a plus.

The location of playa pikua is ideal - looking out to the ocean, very quiet besides the sounds of the waves and birds. The staff were absolutely amazing and martha and Oscar are the kindest hosts. The breakfast was delicious and the lodges were spacious, comfortable, and clean. It felt like home very quickly!

The hostel far exceeded our expections with a wonderful greeting from our host, Carmen, who was always happy, smiling and helpful. Due to the price we paid, we expected a much cheaper feeling, but everything from the facilities to the personnel was excellent. While there's no food on the premises a small restaurant very nearby has one of the best menus of the day, we've had in Colombia! The breakfast on site was per plate instead of a buffet, which meant it was freshly made.

Welcoming, warm hosts. Breakfast was great. And we loved the variety of animals on the property, especially Lilu the adorable poodle! Also amazing to be walking distance from Parque Tayrona, but set back enough not to hear the noise of the highway at all.

For the price this is a fantastic option pre/post Tayrona. We messed up our dates on our booking and were exhausted after the lost city trek. The owners were so accommodating and organised a room at the last minute. Fredy was patient with our basic Spanish and extremely helpful all Through our stay. Highly recommend. We loved sitting on our terrace overlooking the river.

It really felt like heaven once up there. The adventure of getting at the location makes it even more appealing for people who are enjoying an offroad motorbike ride and a bit of a hike. The hosts Marcelo and Juan Pablo are really great people too and will do the best to make you feel comfortable. We will deffo return next year!
