What a lovely Lodge, such a gorgeous setting and the Lodge itself is so beautiful. We loved our rooms, a comfortable couch and everything is so well laid out. I am an ambulant wheelchair user and appreciated that the light switches were suitably placed and there was a ramp. There is a hot tub! I mean that alone was anmazing and I could get in and out due to its placement. Just lying there enjoying the mountains and the house martins swooping in the sky was worth it. The free body wash, shampoo and conditioner as well as some tea and coffee also added to the welcome we felt. The housecoats were useful to keep the floor dry after going between the shower and hot tub too. We were grateful we could bring our dog as well.

Very clean, every detail is taken care of. Great shower. Amazing outside place to sit and chill. Bbq is a great addition. Bed very comfortable. The owners went an extra nile with design. It's a gem!

Lovely location and the owners are very friendly and no problems at all if anything was needed. Lovely little courtyard area for BBQ with a fire pit. Crisps and drinks on the table when we arrived nice little added touch.

An awsome and fatastic cabin in the woods. The owners were lovely and very welcoming. The cosy cabin was very quiet, perfectly clean and comfortable. Well equipped and beautifully furnished, we were like home during our stay. the cabin. The log fire we use, added another cosy touch. The cabin was very peaceful in very nice surroundings. We absolutely loved it for the 3 days we were there and will for sure come back.

Set in Aberfoyle, Macdonald Forest Hills Resort has a fitness centre. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. The resort has a terrace and a hot tub.

It is peaceful and relaxing, a real hideaway yet central to so many tourist towns, walks, mountains, activities and shops. Excellent location and extremely comfortable. We had a fantastic time, Mum, Dad and 9 year old daughter.
