From the moment we arrived, Te Rangi Lodge felt like the perfect getaway. The hosts welcomed my family, including two toddlers, with genuine kindness that immediately put us at ease. Dawn and Craig’s authentic, down-to-earth nature ensured the little ones felt comfortable and truly looked after, making the stay relaxed and enjoyable. The culinary creations were restaurant-quality, crafted with passion, served with heartfelt care and enjoyed in a cozy dining atmosphere. Breakfast on our last day was fantastic, setting a wonderful tone for the day ahead. The accommodation is inviting, well maintained, perfect for unwinding and tastefully adorned with carefully curated pieces from the hosts’ travels and life stories - giving a unique and personal touch. Their furbabies brought a charming homely vibe, while the serene natural surroundings made every moment outside refreshing. All the details were spot on, and the hosts thoughtfully went above and beyond to make us feel special. We left rested, well looked after and absolutely eager to return.

Looking for a lodge?
