Perfect stay after a full day of hiking! The views are amazing, the lodge has comfy areas to chill, the rooms were nice and clean and had hot water. The dinner was also great for only 25 soles (also had vegetarian options) and the staff was super friendly! The women from the reception even made us delicious pancakes at 4.45am and we were even the only guests for breakfast! Would definitely recommend!

Llahuar Lodge is located along the trekking circuit of the Colca Canyon in Arequipa, approximately a 5-hour walk from the town of Cabanaconde, right at the union of the Colca and Huaruro rivers.

The location was perfect, the host was very helpful and a very lovely and honest person. The hot springs were so relaxing, hot shower 24/7 and the dinner was excellent. Great value for money.

Lovely hotel in an incredible spot above the Colca Canyon. Walter was brilliant at looking after us in every respect including giving us a guided tour of all the animals on site which our girls loved.

Food was very nice for after a long day of hiking! The area also looked very nice, especially with the pool and the waterfall. Communication was also straight the point.

Posada Colibri was so so special to us! The owner was extremely friendly, provided great service, and was just genuinely a very nice guy- we got to chat with him a little after dinner. The food!! They cooked the most delicious meals - the freshest avocados, tasty soups, and generous portions of chicken/alpaca! The room was clean new and beds were very comfortable. There was even hot water for showers, outlets, and wifi! It was such a treat to stay at Colibri for night 1 of our 2 night hike.

An absolutely exceptional experience! The ladies working there went out of their way and beyond for us and deserve a 12/10 rating. Amazingly beautiful scenery, great breakfast, and super comfortable beds. Everything was clean. We were served cocoa tea upon arrival and enjoyed a delicious meal in the afternoon. Because we had to leave early the next day (05:00), the staff made us a big and lovely breakfast at 04am. Nothing to say but a perfect stay!
