United StatesIt was a very nice and clean cabin with electric fire place, front porch and lake right in the front. Wish we could have stayed longer than a night. It was very affordable as well. I also liked that I got an email with all the instructions as to which cabin was mine and how to get it since we arrived after hours.

The lodge itself is really cozy. And the support we've received from the staff was amazing: the help with the check-in, yes; but also we accidentally left some of our stuff in the lodge and they shipped it to us by international mail very quickly. Great at communicating, prepped good breakfast for us and was always available when we needed something - Thank you! The location is exquisite and quiet indeed - the name suits the lodge. Kern river flows right behind, you can see it rushing right from the room, and the sound of it too if you listen closely. Nature lovers can spend hours just gazing at it.
