They served some of the best local dishes I’ve ever had in Vietnam. Yen offers great value for money and is the perfect base for anyone looking to explore the natural beauty of Cat Ba Island. CG and the rest of the staff are absolutely amazing. They went out of their way to ensure I had a great stay — not only at Eco Lodge but on the island of Cat Ba. The lodge has great recs about restaurants, scooters to rent, and is near a lake and the national park. Additionally, I loved CG’s dogs! Highly recommend this beautiful oasis as a place to get to know Cat Ba and other travelers. Would 10/10 stay here again and/or recommend to friends/family.
