It was an amazing stay at Madikwe. The game drives in the morning and evening were amazing, we had a very skilled ranger who knew a lot and saw a lot of animals. The rooms were spacious and clean and at the waterhole there were always animals to watch. The staff was so friendly and helpful, food was also delicious. I can warmy recommend going there, I will surely return one day.

Look no further, this is the lodge for your safari experience. Getting to the place from Johannesburg is very easy by car, they are in touch with you in case of any event. The lodge is just wonderful. This is the only safari I have been on but I think this is a very unique place. The place is very beautiful, service is top knotch, you feel at home but also you know you are having a premium stay. What is most unique about the lodge is the waterhole in front as many animals come during the day to drink water and you can witness this súper up close through an underground hide. It’s amazing and completely safe. The other unique aspect of this lodge is your game drive ranger. Damien is just the best. He goes the extra mile so that you see the most exciting sightings, we had so much fun.

Superb place, service, food, staff

What a place! I could honestly go on forever about how amazing Madikwe Hills Private Game Lodge is! We were return travelers and had another truly incredible stay. From stunningly beautiful rooms, wonderful and very friendly staff, absolutely amazing wildlife and delicious food- nothing is short of perfect. We just wish we stayed longer! We will definitely be back!

The encounters with the magnificent animals in their natural habitat were truly awe-inspiring and left us with memories that will last a lifetime. The Boma evening was a truly memorable experience. The traditional setting, the crackling fire, and the delicious food made for an authentic and enjoyable evening. It offered a unique opportunity to connect with other guests and share stories while immersing ourselves in the rich African culture. The food and beverage offerings at Rhulani were exceptional.
