A bicycle rental service is available at Isla Única- Islas del Rosario. Jose was the highlight of our visit. He was so kind, attentive and patient with our broken spanish. The food and drink was excellent (the Mango daiquiris!!!). The room was beautiful with a huge California king sized bed, very clean with interesting architecture and lighting. The views from all sides of the property were stunning. 100% highly reccommend staying here for a chill, relaxing stay

At the lodge you will find a restaurant serving Caribbean and local cuisine. Vegetarian and vegan options can also be requested. Do not expect luxury. This is a great alternative to the expensive hotels in the area. It’s a short walk to some small beaches and a 20 minute walk to playa escondida and playa libre. Getting off the “tourist trap” path is exactly what we needed. In town you will find affordable sea food and a lovely community. The owners were lovely and they had a fun parrot. The room was gorgeous and equipped with fans and a mosquito net. Maria greeted us with a coconut when we arrived. She cooks really well. Just talk to her in advance when you want food and she’s happy to cook for you.

Vegetarian and vegan options can also be requested. One of my favorite places in Colombia, the stay in Isla Grande was fantastic and filled with beautiful experiences. I extended my stay in Las Palmeras by one night. Very helpful staff and clean facilities and good prices for lunch and other meals. It's an Eco Hostel so don't expect luxury, just a beautiful place in the middle of the Carrabiean Sea.
