It was a beautiful location about 40mins outside La Fortuna proper. You need a vehicle to get around. On the property there are horses, peacocks, miniature horses and even a beautiful water buffalo! The room was comfortable and the service was so hospitable and warm! DEFINITELY worth staying there!

Both WiFi and private parking are accessible at the lodge free of charge. This was probably my favorite part of Costa Rica Trip! It was so surreal to spend some time disconnected and surrounded by such beautiful nature. Loved all the trails, but sandaderos in bosque la tigra was my favorite. It’s a primary and secondary rainforest property they have nearby and you can visit it for a small fee. I saw there more wildlife by myself than in any other forests walking with a guide. I did a night tour and we walked around the property, not even rainforest further out, and saw 3 snakes within the first 5minutes, so many frogs and other insects, and the guide was very knowledgable. I also planted a tree there and it was a really beautiful experience of giving back to the nature and community. Overall service is 10/10, always with a smile, always asking a question or two. No connection at all anywhere except the reception, but wifi there is stronger than in most coworkings I have visited here in Costa Rica. The only thing that was challenging for me personally and I have not seen it mentioned in the comments is if you sometimes get car sick, a road to the property will make you car sick, so please have some medicine handy. But it’s the entire area around that is like this, so just accepting it as part of adventure. I recommend staying for 2-3 nights and spending it in the lodge area enjoying the nature, the best disconnection and reconnection with the self “retreat” 🤭

Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park is 49 km from the lodge. Fortuna Airport is 26 km away. Nohelia (host/owner) is very friendly and helpful. Wonderful (typical local) breakfast and diner. Beautiful garden, full of animals and with a nice viewpoint. Guided night walk is certainly something you should do. A bit remote (from the tourist hotspots), but definitely worth the detour!

A patio with garden views is offered in every unit. this view is probably the best you can get, no other words than just breathtaking this is a million-dollar view for a good fair price. which when you are traveling with a family is great we had an amazing time, even when the volcano was in the clouds,the house was comfy to hang around in.
