The location was terrific for going to the Gir safari starting point - just a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The rooms were clean and aesthetically done. ACs were working well and so was the lift. Food was decent too, given that Sasangir is basically a village. Probably the best/only budget hotel with all amenities close to the safari park and in the center of the village.

Bang on location. Stone throw away from where we start the jungle safaris Pool was good. But no staff for pool side towels etc. Food was good. Staff very courteous and helpful.

Vanveda Gir is a beautiful property in lap of nature. The property manager Ms Nazia and Mr Preet are very helpful. They made the stay very memorable. Vanveda has all the facilities for adults and kids. Indoor n outdoor play area for kids. Nice pool for adults and kids. Ambience is really awesome. Food was mouth watering. All safari booking were done by Vanveda staff which was a great help. Its a must visit place in Gir.

We loved this place! Feels like staying in your own historic mansion. Very quiet and spacious. We hardly saw the other guests. (I think there are only three rooms.) Staff are very sweet. Nice breakfast in the courtyard (fruit, juice, tea/coffee, toast, various Indian breakfast foods). We had the double room, which is well equipped and nicely decorated. It even has its own mini sitting room. The old city around is beautiful, with mysterious bazaars and wooden houses. Check out the Irani restaurant for a traditional bun.

We came for the safari and the entrance to the Sinh sadan is few yards away and very convenient.

Breakfast was ok with the selection of india foods and eggs to order. Location is walking distance from the Gir Safari reception and start of safaris. Very quiet and excellent location on the river. Excellent and very polite staff and good service.

Location for Sasan Gir safari is excellant. Somnath Temple is 41 KM by road. Has parking failities. Villa is good but needs renovations.

Great location and friendly staff make this resort worth considering if your staying in the area. They were flexible around breakfast when we had a morning safari which was useful. The food was good although it is toned down for westerners which is always disappointing.
