Providing city views, Appi Arts Color in Hachimantai provides accommodation, free bikes, a garden, a shared lounge, a restaurant and ski-to-door access. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The design was very nice and cozy, place was clean, staff was friendly, breakfast served everyday and there was free shuttle service taking you to the breakfast and ski locations. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Owner Sano-San is very nice and involved and makes it a welcoming environment.

The lodge offers 2-star accommodation with a hot spring bath. Great ski location for Iwate Kogen Snow Park and Amihari Onsen Ski Resorts. The owner was very kind and hospitable, would recommend this lodge to my Aussie travellers. Owner provided lifts to Iwate Kogen Snow Park and Amihari Onsen Ski Resort.

Breakfast is available, and includes buffet, continental and Full English/Irish options. At the lodge you will find a restaurant serving American, Chinese and French cuisine. Vegetarian and dairy-free options can also be requested. Hosts could not be more accommodating. Pick you up from the station, drop you to the ski slopes and make delicious food- to suit your taste. I recommend Japanese every time. The sushi was the best we have ever had. Really worth a return trip!
