From the very start, Sandra was incredibly helpful and responsive when I messaged her. She made the booking process so smooth and ensured we had everything we need. The moment we arrived, we were greeted with an incredible dance by the team to celebrate our arrival We were there to celebrate my mom's birthday, and the team made it so special! On one of the nights, they surprised her with a beautiful cake and a mini party. Their attention to detail and genuine effort to make her day memorable meant the world to us. The people at the camp truly made our experience extraordinary. Joseph, the owner, was an incredible tour guide who shared his deep knowledge and passion for the area, making every adventure even more exciting. Patrick, Daniel, and the rest of the team went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home, and their kindness and warmth made our stay unforgettable. The food was out of this world! Every meal was a celebration of fresh, flavorful dishes that made dining one of the highlights of our stay. Each bite was prepared with so much care that it felt like a true feast every time. The rooms were beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. Waking up to the sounds of nature was a dream come true. The thoughtful details, from the cozy beds to the special birthday decorations, made everything feel so personalized and luxurious. The camp itself was pristine and impeccably maintained, which gave us so much comfort and peace of mind. This camp didn’t just enhance our trip, it became the heart of our Maasai Mara adventure. The warmth, hospitality, and genuine care from the team made it an experience we’ll cherish forever. Facing the Talek River, Mara offers elegantly furnished tents on raised platforms, and a terrace with a bar for spotting animals. All rates include 3 game drives a day, and return airstrip transfers.

Mara’s tents include a wooden, 4-poster bed surrounded by a mosquito net. All have a modern, private bathroom with a double vanity, shower, and flush toilets. Tea and coffee making facilities are in each. The staff was accomodating and friendly, food was very good and our safari guide, Dominic was the very best guide we have had after several trips to Africa.

Set in Masai Mara, Pearl Mara offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a fitness centre, a garden and a shared lounge.

The lodge offers a terrace. Peal mara was excellent! super friendly staff, responsive, polite, helpful. The tent was luxurious, clean, comfortable, safe! There were people walking us back and forth in case wildlife appears in the way. Sunset and sunset views were also top. The people working there are always available to accommodate your every need. The whole place is built in respect to the surrounding nature. The safari driver, Sietoti, and Rachel, a trainee, were experienced and educated, and was able to identify every corner of Maasai Mara and provide rich information about nature and wildlife during our daily safari game drives. A truly amazing duo who made our trip unforgettable. They really took care of us. Also, the food was delicious, chef was excellent! I would definitely go back again!

Ol Kiombo Airport is 12 km from the property. Location is gorgeous with beautiful views into the savanna, with a pond with animals coming to drink. The house is beautifully decorated. The food prepared by the chef was great. Very friendly staff, specially Vincent and Peter.

We stayed in a beautifully designed, cozy room (everything inside was chosen with care and filled with comfort) The atmosphere at Emboo is magical: peaceful nature, evenings around the fire on soft poufs under the stars, delicious meals, and a deep connection to the nature. We would especially like to thank: Felix, our safari guide — calm, deeply experienced, and one of the best in his field. He made every game drive feel personal and insightful. Tobin, the photographer, full of passion and soul. Every photo he took captured something deeper than just an image. Rhoda, who looked after us during every breakfast, lunch, and dinner with incredible kindness and attention. And Pedro, who always brought a smile, kindness, and genuine care. he made us feel truly welcomed. The little things made, like hot water bottles waiting in our room at night and even placed in the safari jeep for those chilly early drives. These thoughtful touches left a lasting impression. The entire team at Emboo is united by true hospitality, care for nature, and love for what they do. We’re already home, but our hearts are still with you at Emboo. There is a private bathroom with shower in every unit, along with free toiletries, a hairdryer and slippers. Only the few people staying at the 2 properties can safari on the conservancy. Luckily I had the property to myself and was able to spend most of my time in the bush. The staff were awesome especially the safari guide.

With baboons and hyenas occasionally strolling through the area, it felt like we were genuinely immersed in the wild—exciting, safe, and surreal all at once. The accommodation was both comfortable and authentic, blending rustic charm with all the amenities one could hope for in a luxury safari camp. In short, Drunken Elephant Mara delivered an unforgettable slice of wilderness wrapped in comfort and care. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an adventurous yet refined escape.

Accommodation ranges with a variety of tents. There is a main restaurant, bar and many bush dining options. The free form swimming pool has its own pool bar and the property has their own fleet of safari vehicles and guides. First off, the staff at this hotel are exceptional, everyone you meet is happy, positive and goes above and beyond your expectations of quality service. The club room option, while a bit expensive, is an incredible experience. There is access to a members only lounge and swimming pool, so you are guaranteed a quiet, relaxed space to enjoy food and drinks. We practically had the place to ourselves, including the chef. The food was fantastic and varied daily, prepared by the excellent chef Steven and his assistant Daglas, who are both absolute gentlemen. The service we got was so good, we made a list of names of the staff who made our stay most memorable. Doreen, Caroline, Andy and Alex running the lounge were always on hand, with a drink, for a chat, a laugh and to share some local knowledge with us, they made every meal time a joy. Jack looked after our room and was on call at any moment to get us whatever we needed, he is an extremely nice, friendly person and a great ambassador for the Sarova brand. Veronica doing entertainment and games is full of positive energy and always greets you with a big smile, creating a lovely, fun atmosphere around the place. Upon arrival, we were met by the wonderful Ruth, who can organise and fix anything for the guests,, she is an amazing person and really enhanced the experience of our visit. And last but not least our guide for the game drive, Daniel, being a Masai he has great knowledge of Masai Mara, where best to see the big 5, and all the other incredible animals and birds, we had an amazing time with him as our guide. I honestly can't speak more highly about the place and all the staff we met were amazing, just the list above are the people who we spent the most time with. There's a nice, relaxed, happy atmosphere to the place with a genuine commitment by everyone to ensure you have the most amazing experience possible. We will 100% be back!
