The pool, dining area and (bath)room were just perfect. Very clean and well maintained. The location was convenient to visit highlights such as Sigiriya and Dambulla. Breakfast was very good, lunch and dinner is also available. We highly recommend this since the food we had for dinner was top notch.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Rock Shade Chalet – Sigiriya. The chalet was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with a beautiful natural setting close to the main attractions. Both breakfast and dinner were delicious and freshly prepared, making our stay very comfortable. A special mention goes to Mr. Lasantha, who gave us massive support throughout our stay. His warm hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care made a big difference. Furthermore, he arranges Sri Lankan cooking lessons for foreign guests, which is a wonderful initiative to share our food and culture with the world. What impressed us most is that all of this is offered at an affordable price, and the team works tirelessly 24/7 to give their very best to guests. Overall, Rock Shade Chalet is a perfect place for a peaceful family getaway, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sigiriya.

This was by far our best accommodation in Sri Lanka. Very clean, pleasant, with an excellent breakfast. It is a family run business, the sons checked us in and showed us around, mum cooks excellent breakfasts and (if you ask) lunches and dinners, all absolutely great. Dad runs Tuk Tuk and has very nice prices and overall he is a very nice gentleman. He took us by tuk tuk to the sunrise at Lion's Rock and spent the whole next day with us taking us around all the sights in Polonaruwa and then on to Dambulla and finally on the bus. He showed us which bus to take and arranged with the driver to take care of us. Absolutely great experience, if we go to Sri Lanka again we will not skip this place.

Les petits déjeuners , déjeuners,et dîners ,sont copieux , traditionnels , les produits de qualité , dans un cadre " féerique" L'emplacement est idéal , proche des musés et temples , ( nous nous y sommes rendus à pied ) tout en étant en pleine nature , à la lisière de la jungle . L' accueil est parfait ; le propriétaire et sa famille sont à l'écoute ,et ne savent que faire pour satisfaire pleinement leur client.La piscine est la cerise sur le gâteau ; l'on peut s'y baigner à n'importe quel moment de la journée

L’établissement Sigiri Jungle Villa se situe à Sigirîya, à respectivement 2,2 km et 5,4 km de ces lieux d’intérêt : Sigirîya et Promontoire rocheux Pidurangala. The place was fully covered with trees. Room was spacious and clean. Washroom was big and clean. Janak, the owner was very sweet and helpful. Breakfast was wholesome and tasty. I strongly recommend to book this place. Worth money. Perfect stay at Sigiriya.

We had a great stay here. It was quiet and comfortable, perfect for relaxing. The hosts were very nice and always ready to help with transportation and tips on places to visit. The food was also really good. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful and pleasant stay.

We stayed there for a night and booked this location due to wonderful comments about its owner and location. And it is absolutely true. It is a small yet lovely hotel and also just 5 mins tuk tuk ride from the Sigiriya Rocks. Also very easily accessible to city center and restaurants. The owner is a fine gentleman and really friendly. We forgot our two bags and realised after we got call from hotel and we were around 20 kms away. The owner sent the bags via tuk tuk and did not accept cash for this extra effort done by them. We were really grateful to them.

Stayed here for 5 nights and it felt like home. The location is stunning literally on a lake with a view of Lion's Rock. Chami and the family are super friendly and helpful, they even came with me on some day trips and made sure I was sorted with everything. And the food Absolutely delicious.If you're heading to Sigiriya, definitely book in here. You won't regret it.
