We really appreciated the small extra touches that make a big difference, like the free hat for guests, the cozy library in the kitchen that felt like a piece of my own home, and having drinking water available in the room. I couldn't believe the kitchen staff remembered exactly which fruits I wanted on my oatmeal after having asked for it once. Truly impeccable service and attention to detail. Will come back a hundred times.

The lodge has a terrace, along with a private beach area. amazing views and great staff! me and my dad had the double room downstairs with the deckchairs out side absolutely superb views. our shower was a bit dodgy but we didn’t care that much as the staff were great and over all one of the best places we’ve stayed on the trip so far

Chetumal International Airport is 37 km from the property. The room was super cute and spacious. The location on the lake was lovely. The breakfast was really nice and different each day which was nice. The staff was very nice, although we don’t speak very much Spanish we used google translate for the things we didn’t understand. But they were kind and helpful. Beautiful sunrises and the moon reflecting on the lake was beautiful.

Maya Chan Beach is 80 metres from the lodge. Chetumal International Airport is 148 km away. I would go there again for the fantastic location on the beach. It is a minimalist experience, close to nature and to things which are important in life. Don't go there if you look for a cheap alternative to a 5-star hotels - that won't work.
