The property is located approximately midway between Bacalar and Mahahual. With a combination of private and local transportation, it is very easy to get around. We stayed for 3 nights in one of the direct laguna view cabañas and enjoyed tremendously everything: from the hosts, Bernie and Sam who were very welcoming and helpful, to the amazing views and setting, the confort of the rooms to the very nice and healthy food available throughout the day. We liked the place so much that we ended up staying there throughout our stay, just enjoying the beauty of the place. A true slow living experience!

The common kitchen has everything you need. Convenient location, compared to other hotels and in the depths of the jungle. We would definitely come back to this place!

With sea views, Hotel Cielo y Selva is located in Punta Allen and has a restaurant, a tour desk, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The stay at Cielo y Selva was absolutely amazing. The beachside location is stunning, though the road to get there is quite rugged. However, I highly recommend opting for the boat ride—it's a much smoother and faster alternative. Once you arrive, the place is perfect for unwinding. The staff is incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive, making the whole stay even more enjoyable. It’s the ideal place to relax and escape, with every detail contributing to a truly memorable experience. If you are planning on going, i recommend minimum 2 nights.

Also in front of cabañas theres a spot on the beach where everyone can rest and go in. Since restaurants own every part of the beach 😅 Theres also free bikes from the property I definitely come back and stay here again! Thanks

Both a bicycle rental service and a car rental service are available at the lodge. Unbeatable location. Close to the city center, yet far away from the noise from nightlife. An incredible view and both kayaks and bikes are free to use at any time. First we got a tiny bed, but the staff quickly took care of changing it for a bigger one. Always attentive and cordial!
