There is an on-site restaurant and BBQ facilities. Solitaire roadhouse is hardly-miss-place for roadtrippers visiting Sesriem. It is definitely the best value for the money: Perfect position for Sesriem / Walvis Bay / Windhoek cruising. The lodge is very stylish: chain of big rooms surrounding a desert garden decorated with sukulent (cactus) flowers. In the middle of garden there is refreshing pool. Place has restaurant with good food (breakfast, dinner) and the best bakery of 1000 kms around (definitely try famous apple pie). Wifi, hot water, nice staff, etc. all this makes Solitaire worth of visit. Walvis Bay: 3,5 hours, Sesriem: 2 hours (very bad road, but doable).

Excellent location and breathtaking landscape. Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful lodges.
One of our best lodges during our Namibia trip - especially with respect to the value for money: Great nature, friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast, nice pool, giraffes around. Located perfectly for a stop between Sossusvlei and Swakopmund.
We stayed at 6 different lodges and my family liked this lodge the best. Great experience to see Rhinos, zebras, wildebeest while sitting at the balcony. Very well maintained and the best place to see the stars. Cannot be missed.
I have been travelling Namibia for many years and stayed at dozens of lodges, but this place is a real gem! Everyone at the accomodation and also the management are doing such a wonderful job to make their guests feel comfortable. The scenery is amazing and the food is delicious. Highly recommended!
It is a rather unique structure with interesting rooms. The meals were a level above what we had experienced in other lodges. The waitress who served us was so friendly and obliging
Location is great - very close to the park entrance (but still outside the main gate). Lodges are nice and well equipped
Really nice and comfy lodges. The staff was amazing! All of them were really friendly and forthcoming and helpful! The wild animals on the property were a spectacle to watch.
Very nice and quiet lodge in the middle of the desert, yet not that far away from the main road and Sossusvlei/Deadvlei that it was a pain to get there. The lodge has a lovely staff that took care of us in an excellent way. Also the day tour they provide is very much worth it. They provide spacious, clean lodges with warm showers. Also the food was great.
