Everything 👌🏻…this property is gorgeous.
Our room had a gorgeous view with its windows overlooking next doors farm animals. It was super comfortable and I loved the window seat in this unit that I could lay on , relax and read from.
The gardens are also glorious and colourful with a little stream Ali v the bottom.
We spent 2 nights and were very lucky to have had the whole place to ourselves on our last day/night which felt more special like it was our own 😊
We felt so relaxed and privileged to be alone in the hot tub in the late afternoon.
It was quite cool when we visited ( Oct/Nov) and would be even more lovely in warmer weather.

Lakes Lodge Okataina

The seclusion was perfect, and the bush is so close like you are living 'in' it :)
The room was clean, well appointed and the bed was very comfortable.

Stunning location with confident staff who, while being more than courteous and helpful, were also able to stop talking and to allow us to enjoy the Lodge and its amazing menu for each meal. The full moon rising over a nearby headline was an additional and exceptional feature. As the song goes, "Silence is golden" and the Tui's, Fantails and Ruru (Morepork) calls provided a natural symphony for our relaxing stay.

We actually enjoyed our stay at this motor Lodge. The location is great as it's close range from the town centre and we had access to paknsave up the road. The staff were friendly and helpful and our room was clean. Parking was abit tight but we made do as this accommodation was packed for the dates we stayed, 2 couches were worn but that didn't affect my children using them. Thankyou for accommodating to our needs.

A stunning location in a quiet neighbourhood away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Rotorua. We loved this lodge. The staff and management were exceptional in ensuring we were comfortable during our stay. The breakfast was delicious!

Shami and Dave made me feel very welcome in their home from the moment I arrived. They were always open for a chat and helpful with advice on things to do and see in Rotorua. I would like to thank them for having me as a guest over the course of my stay and for their warm hospitality. The lodge itself is conveniently situated on the No. 12 bus line and within walking distance from Te Puia and Whakarewarewa. As a solo traveller without a car, I had no issues finding my way around by public transport.

Koura Lodge was located in such a gorgeous, peaceful spot on the lake. We were lucky to have perfect weather to enjoy the setting - plus having a sunset spa and sauna right by the lake was a big bonus. Our host was the most sweet and helpful lady, I adored her. The rooms were great, all the different breakfast options provided were simple and yet really tasty. My partner and I felt very well looked after.

We enjoyed that just across the road from the Lodge was the best park ever, also views that u would never see staying in the other hotels. We were a 5min walk from the shops, everything was so close and accessible it was amazing, definitely recommend and will definitely stay again x

We came here as our holiday home accomadation we'd booked several months before let us down. Within moments of walking in the reception we knew we'd have a nice stay. The rooms were great, the reveptiom and house keeping staff went to great lengths to be welcoming and friendly. The Christmas decorations throughout were beautiful. The bar had a lovely ski lodge feel to it. The bar staff were also lovely. The free laundry was really helpful. A magical Christmas stay, and we would love to come back!
