Grove Park Motor Lodge is located in Blenheim, 24 minutes' drive from Picton Ferry Terminal and 3-minute's drive from Blenheim Station and ASB Convention Centre. Free private parking is available on site. Very clean room and the staff was phenomenal. I was having a little problem with the rental car and the manager walked over with me to the garage across the street to help get it fixed. The other manager moved my car to the parking spot by the room and carried my heavy bag into the room for me. The room was very nice and had everything we needed. These people went above and beyond to do anything to make our stay the best.

Excellent location - nestled away from the main road and facing a beautiful vineyard. Communication with Liz was excellent all along the process. Unit was very clean and kitchen utensils and cookware were very cleanl. The heat source for the entire living area is a space heater/faux fireplace in the living room. For the most part, adequate heat was distributed. However, it might be good during colder months to have a separate space heater in the bedroom. Also, I should have read the property description a bit closer in that there is a washer but no dryer. We did resort to hanging wash on the line outside to dry and made it through okay!

Outstanding friendly staff, they make you feel like home, and they make an incredible good pizza (we had the chicken plum - highly recommend) The place is really magical, you stay at the Fjord and can discover it kayaking, hiking or biking. If you're lucky you can see bioluminescent plankton glowing in the sea at night, beautiful stars and glow worms. You can watch the sunrise from the hot tup. It's a place to enjoy! You should stay there at least 2 days. The only thing we didn't like was that we didn't stay longer ;) If there would be an 11. Star, they would have earned it! ... And there is a chimney burning all day ... We had breakfast in front of it :)

At the lodge you will find a restaurant serving local cuisine. Vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan options can also be requested. Niki was sooooo helpful and gave us really good advice! We felt looked after. We hadn't realised there were so many activities to do and could have added in another day. The food at the restaurant was good. Our room was spotless. It was quite basic but that reflected that it was the cheapest accommodation we had when doing the Queen Charlotte Sound and it met all of our needs. Thanks for a great stay at a beautiful spot!

Guests can enjoy the indoor pool at Antria Boutique Lodge. The location was wonderful, the hosts Hugh and Caro were very welcoming and even helped us to book reservations for dinner and gave us a lift into town. The breakfasts prepared by Caro was excellent, we both enjoyed our time greatly.
