From the moment we arrived, he made us feel at home with his kindness, warmth, and attention to detail. The cabins are brand new, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped—sharp knives, quality cookware, a coffee machine, and even reusable water bottles to help reduce waste. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and the outdoor living space is perfect for relaxing. We loved being surrounded by nature—waking up to the sounds of monkeys, spotting sloths in the trees, and seeing toucans and flying toads right outside our window. The beach is stunning, and David even provided beach mats and bags to make our days by the ocean even better. He went above and beyond, offering to bring us groceries from town and sharing great conversations over a beer, making us feel like old friends.

Featuring free private parking, the lodge is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as snorkelling and cycling. Such an exceptional location and accommodation! Being 2 minutes from the amazing beach, but at the same time living in the middle of the jungle was the top experience in Panama. Even though the house gives the natural rustic vibes, it has all the neccessary amenities and is perfectly thought through. We did not want to leave and for sure will be back again!

Guests at the lodge can enjoy hiking and cycling nearby, or make the most of the garden. Maxxi and Jane were such great hosts. Jungle Paunch is a fantastic place to stay, and I would absolutely come back to this place. It's right down the road from the ocean and within walking distance to a few restaurants. The howler monkeys are loud in the morning, but it's exciting to be able to stay in nature and experience it so closely. Overall, you are instantly relaxed when you arrive at Jungle Paunch.

For added convenience, the property can provide towels and bed linen for an extra charge. Nathy and her family are super friendly and try to fulfill every wish! Her dishes are sooo good. The entire property in the middle of nowhere and the tranquility are more than relaxing. Totally recommend to come here.

Guests at the lodge can enjoy billiards on site, or hiking in the surroundings. There was a great atmosphere, and the owner is very interesting and helped us alot. The place has it's own little beach and great facilities - pool, games, shared kitchen etc. They also have handy and helpful scooter rental options that make the transport easier.

We look forward to welcoming you back again afterwards to enjoy the results of these improvements! The staff was incredibly nice and friendly. The room was really nice. It felt a little bit humid but I guess it rained a lot. It is a beach front place so that really makes a difference , very comfortable lovely place awesome view awesome beaches Food is good great. It can be quiet at night so it’s nice for a relaxing time.

The small resort size contributed to friendly conversation amongst the international clientele. Staff was great and attentive to every need.

Views of the garden and the ocean can be seen from the rooms at Playa Bluff Lodges. The ensuite bathroom comes with a shower. Extras include a safety deposit box, bed linen and a fan. This is a more private location right next to the beach with beautiful sand and crashing waves that you can hear just enough from your room as you sleep. Provides breakfast, a pool, and seating you can take to the beach. You can also get on site rentals for bikes, massage therapy if you want, and lunch for a fee. Rooms were clean and well kept. Beautiful grounds, perfect view of sunrise from the beach which is literally right outside the entrance to the place. Enjoyed our stay immensely! You do have to take taxi or public transit about 30 min from the Bocas Town to get to the location and go back for yours, taxi costs $15-20 and public transit if running (bus had repairs for two days we were here) costs $3.50-4.50/person.
