Situé à Kiruna et offrant une vue sur le lac, l’établissement Arctic Gourmet Cabin comprend un service de prêt de vélos, un jardin, une terrasse, un restaurant et un bar. The host, Johan, was really nice and hospitable and the location itself was lovely as it was remote and allowed us to gaze up at the aurora without light pollution getting in the way. Unfortunately I believe those were the only two reasons I was not entirely disappointed with my choice.

Situé à Abisko, l'hôtel Abisko Mountain Lodge se trouve à seulement 2 minutes de marche de la gare d'Abisko Östra. We booked a cottage and it was so so lovely! Kitchen was super clean and had everything you need to cook a meal (there is also a supermarket nearby), the couches were comfortable, bathroom was also clean and the beds were cosy and comfy! There were electrical heaters in the rooms which were more than sufficient to heat the cottage and it had a nice little terrace. Use of the sauna and showers was also very nice, it was clean and well arranged. We had the breakfast in the main hotel and it was very good, with a great arrangement of food and drinks. After we had to check out we only had a train a few hours later but we were welcome to stay in the lounge area of the hotel, which was very comfortable and had some games! I will definitely come back here!

Quiet and cosy stay in the lapland.  It's equipped with a great wood sauna.  Breakfast was nice at their teepee style lodge.  We also had free access to the nearby Sami museum in Jukkasjärvi, which was very interesting and informative.

Entouré par la forêt, l'Aurora Camp Kurravaara est situé juste à côté de la rivière Torne, à 13 km de l'aéroport de Kiruna. Les installations comprennent un sauna et une terrasse meublée. We had a great time at the Aurora Camp. The hut had everything we needed and the private sauna with the instruction video was great. It would have been nice to provide more small firewood to start the fire but we collected it around the camp. The sauna heats up really fast and it's great fun to jump into the cold lake after using it. As expected there were many mosquitoes but the hut has a screen door which was very helpful.
