A small library is on site at the Bay Harbor Lodge and concierge services are also available. Free Wi-Fi is provided in public areas. Guest can enjoy nightly sunsets from our small beach and fishing pier. The grounds and room were meticulously clean. They didn't nickel and dime us to death. We had our own designated parking spot (free) and access to complimentary kayaks and fabulous scones and coffee every morning! The staff were all friendly and accommodating.

The 1-bedroom lodge has a living room with a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and dishwasher, and 1 bathroom with bath or shower.

A barbecue is available on site and canoeing can be enjoyed within close proximity of the lodge. The treehouse is a gem located in the middle of the nature of Homosassa River. We loved the Treehouse with it’s wooden equipped walls, spacious bathroom (with 2 sinks), cozy sofa and spacious veranda with grill. We sat ouside every evening barbecuing and watching the Spanish moss moving in the wind, which was very relaxing. We kayaked the Homosassa River to the Wildlife State Park (right side) and back, which was a very nice half day tour. We saw Monkey Island, many turtles and even a dolphin (!) hunting fish! We also enjoyed the 9am boat tour at River Safari with Susan.

Big Cypress has river views, free WiFi and free private parking, set in Lake Panasoffkee.

A bit farther from the street, so no noise. Beautiful sea view from the window, though it might have looked more like a lake. The pool, although not heated according to staff, had fairly warm water, and it was nice to spend time there. 20-minute drive to Key West, which offers plenty of attractions. Free coffee service available. A restaurant with tasty food just 2-3 minutes on foot but only for dinner.
