We did the Cao Bang loop self-guided and the view from this guesthouse's garden was better than most of our trip. This is the kind of place you book for the view and surroundings. It's very peaceful and we would have happily spent an extra day here just hanging out and admiring the view. It's also the gateway to a stunning and very underrated valley in the Cao Bang region. The rooms were simple, but clean, and did the job. The host was able to accommodate our vegan diet for dinner and breakfast. It had surprisingly fast wifi given the remote location. We even met someone working remotely while staying there, which is a great idea. We would highly recommend people stay here when doing the Cao Bang loop or visiting Ban Gioc Waterfall. We wish we could have stayed an extra day!

He gave me great suggestions on where to visit and showed me how to ride the motorbike before I took off. Great location for peace and quiet. The rooms are clean and nice! Highly recommend this place.

Opening to a patio with garden views, all units are fitted with a kitchen with an oven and a stovetop. Lovely homestay surrounded by nature. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. They do not speak English however we managed to communicate using Google Translate. They accepted to check me in early upon arrival. They also accepted my last minute booking for an extra night. And they assisted me with booking a great motorbike tour to Gian Boc waterfalls. I had the best guide! It was amazing!

À la carte and Asian breakfast options are available at the lodge. We loved our stay! The room is very comfortable, 2 pillows each! Towels and soap provided :) The area is super quite and lovely, with a great little cafe and restaurant overlooking the lake. It is just so serene and relaxing. I would recommend to anyone!

A car rental service is available at the lodge. Loved the homestay. The compound is so beautiful. The staff were young but super helpful. My brother arrived at 5am and the staff woke up very early to help us check him in on our first night. The hot pot and bbq dinners were delicious too! Our host kindly helped arranged a driver to bring us to so many beautiful sights around the area over 2 days, but they have motorbikes for rental if keen to self-explore. There is hot water for warm showers, clean toilets, wifi with really good connection. Thank you Mina for such a wonderful stay!
