We stayed in Cottage 6 (the best) and had the most amazing time. The images do not do this place justice. The food we ordered was superb. We went to Addo through them and Francois was the best. Still lost for words. Just fantastic

We were greeted by zebras and ostrich as soon as we entered the grounds - already quite the experience! Our room had amazing views and was very comfortable and clean. We had dinner on the property our first night which was one of our favorite meals of the trip! We did the Addo park, Schotia Safari and a Giraffe walk all by recommendations from Ingrid and we had the perfect trip.

Guests are able to arrange a late morning Day Safari directly with the property at an additional charge. Leeuwenbosch Shearers Lodge features extensive gardens with a chapel. The whole team were amazing and it felt like one big family- nothing was too much!! The rangers were very knowledgeable, and communicated expertly with one another to ensure you had the best chance of sightings. The reserve has grown significantly since my last visit 14years ago and remains as beautiful as I remembered. The rooms were super comfy, with huge beds and modernised bathrooms. The pool area was lovely, overlooking the reserve with frequent wildlife visitors, making for a great refreshing dip between game drives. The food was delicious! We couldn’t fault it and can’t wait to come back.

Port Elizabeth is 35 km from Charihandra Game Lodge, whereas Addo is 19.4 km away. Chrihandra has suffered damage from the strong winds and relocated me to a partner property. They were extremely attentive and covered my expenses in the other place which was equally good and equipped! I look forward to stay at Charihandra in the future!

Situated in Jeffreys Bay with easy access to the beach, Surf Lodge South Africa features a balcony with panoramic ocean view.

The lodge offers an outdoor pool and a hot tub. Guests can learn how to surf or get guiding lessons. This is one of my favorite places in South Africa. The position of this hotel, right on the best beach of Jeffreys Bay, allows visitors the luxury to walk barefoot (50 m) from their room to the Ocean. And what a spectacular sunrise from the balcony! The atmosphere at the Surf Lodge is very jolly and relaxed at the same time, and they offer plenty of activities for their visitors (surfing but not only that). Definitely not my last visit :-)
