The lodge provides guests with a terrace, mountain views, a seating area, satellite flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and a dishwasher, and a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Some units feature a balcony and/or a patio with river views. Absolutely stunning accommodation and the farm. Not cheap but definitely worth it. Fully self-catered, but very well thought-of and taken care of to the very little detail. All the extras such as beer or wine or extra wood are available in the house or from the farm shop. Rooms are beautiful and beds are super comfortable. Pre-ordered meal boxes are very carefully packed and it’s a real pleasure unpacking them and cooking. Morning safari is done by the host who is very friendly and welcoming. Rhinos and all the animals are there and can’t be missed, kids and adults had such a lot of fun and great time during the whole stay. Definitely highly recommended to all who values good balance of nature and true comfort.

Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. The deck area boasts a cocktail bar and free WiFi is available throughout.

The spacious rooms and suites are individually decorated and filled with light. Some rooms have fireplaces and offer scenic views. The elegant bathrooms have floor heating and heated towel rails. Just perfect! Just out in the bush everything was clean and comfortable. The most friendly staff and a good kitchen. Great hiking possibilities as well to enjoy nature. They are building a new restaurant and will turn parts of the old restaurant/bar into rooms. Just hope they keep some parts of the current restaurant for a drink since it has the most beautiful views!

Each room and chalet at Garden Route Game Lodge offers either views of the mountains or the valley. They are elegantly decorated with thatched roofs and wooden furniture. All of them have TVs with digital channels and a safe. Amazing place where you can rest, see animals in their natural habitat and eat great food. From the moment you pass through the gate everything is organised for you. The staff are so welcoming and attentive. The game drivers are so knowledgeable and engaging. We should have stayed more than two night’s! Our son , who is 9 years of age happily got up at 6 AM to go on a game drive . We all loved it. One of the most memorable experiences we had as a family!

With Goose Valley Golf Club reachable in 14 km, Knysna Elephant Park Lodge provides accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. You can literally sleep above the elephant’s boma at night and watch them which is incredible.

Providing garden views, Stanley Island in Plettenberg Bay provides accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a private beach area, a restaurant and a bar. Free WiFi is provided.

The lodge offers a barbecue. We loved to stay here! it’s special and we’ll definitely come back in the future :) Big thanks to all the staff members

Set in a forest and nestled among the trees, Moonshine on Whiskey Creek offers self-catering accommodation in wooden cabins, just toff the N2 national road and 15 km away from Plettenberg Bay.

The units are equipped with kitchen facilities, fireplace and seating area. Some of the bathrooms are fitted with a mosaic shower. Barbecue facilities are available. A lovely house in the trees, with a view. Quiet, cosy, stylish and comfortable. Great veranda to sit out on, and eat or read. Very convenient for the beautiful Garden Route. We wish we could have stayed longer. All the houses on the property are well separated from each other and not overlooked.

At Singing Kettle Beach Lodge the restaurant, Enrico’s serves authentic Italian food with South African flavours. Guests can relax on the terrace whilst watching the sunset. The staff were exceptional (thank you, Dee and Michelle), and the rooms were top-class, with comfortable beds and fresh, clean linen. Kitchen appliances were a helpful convenience, and small touches like beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc... made our trip most memorable. The views from the rooms are absolutely amazing, and the restaurant below adds a great holiday vibe!
