The lodge provides guests with a terrace, mountain views, a seating area, satellite flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge and a dishwasher, and a private bathroom with shower and free toiletries. Some units feature a balcony and/or a patio with river views. I m rarely impressed. But this time it was so nice place that you almost want to cancel your next hotel and stay longer in this place. So nicely equipped and so plenty place to enjoy. Fireplace. Hot tub fired by wood. When came home- 2 rhinos waited for us in garden- bit scary. If I could put 11 that this place will be that.

The spacious rooms and suites are individually decorated and filled with light. Some rooms have fireplaces and offer scenic views. The elegant bathrooms have floor heating and heated towel rails. This is a piece of paradise. The chalet is very comfortable and well equipped and maintained. The restaurant offers excellent food options. The breakfast is amazing. I recommend staying here at least for three nights.

Each room and chalet at Garden Route Game Lodge offers either views of the mountains or the valley. They are elegantly decorated with thatched roofs and wooden furniture. All of them have TVs with digital channels and a safe. Amazing place where you can rest, see animals in their natural habitat and eat great food. From the moment you pass through the gate everything is organised for you. The staff are so welcoming and attentive. The game drivers are so knowledgeable and engaging. We should have stayed more than two night’s! Our son , who is 9 years of age happily got up at 6 AM to go on a game drive . We all loved it. One of the most memorable experiences we had as a family!

With Goose Valley Golf Club reachable in 14 km, Knysna Elephant Park Lodge provides accommodation, a restaurant, a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace. Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. We liked the whole experience. Room perfect. Elephant viewing area perfect. Breakfast and other meals in the restaurant perfect. You can go and feed the elephants any time you want (at 30-minute intervals) during the day. We also took a walk with the elephants at a reasonable extra cost (limited availability so you must book well in advance). Staff were super friendly.

The lodge offers a barbecue. We had the most incredible stay at Stanley Island. The food, rooms and setting were so beautiful, and especially the service from Fanny at the restaurant made our visit! We will definitely be recommending this place to our friends.

A balcony with mountain views is offered in all units. The view is absolutely spectacular. The cabin was made of logs and had everything you could need supplied and was situated in a garden with mature trees and shrubs, which provides absolute privacy from the other cabins on the property. The hosts were also fantastic as were the other staff. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of extra blankets should it turn cold.

Set in a forest and nestled among the trees, Moonshine on Whiskey Creek offers self-catering accommodation in wooden cabins, just toff the N2 national road and 15 km away from Plettenberg Bay.

The units are equipped with kitchen facilities, fireplace and seating area. Some of the bathrooms are fitted with a mosaic shower. Barbecue facilities are available. Everything is done with so much attention and detail. Loved the house!

The staff were exceptional (thank you, Dee and Michelle), and the rooms were top-class, with comfortable beds and fresh, clean linen. Kitchen appliances were a helpful convenience, and small touches like beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc... made our trip most memorable. The views from the rooms are absolutely amazing, and the restaurant below adds a great holiday vibe!
