Situated at the base of the wild Tsitsikamma Mountains, The Fernery overlooks an impressive 30-metre waterfall in the Sanddrift River gorge. The deck area boasts a cocktail bar and free WiFi is available throughout.

The spacious rooms and suites are individually decorated and filled with light. Some rooms have fireplaces and offer scenic views. The elegant bathrooms have floor heating and heated towel rails. We love it all. Beautiful rooms. Friendly people and good food. If you want to treat yourself this is the place to go. Very special. It was our 4th visit.

Located in the village of Stormsrivier in Tsitsikamma, this bed and breakfast offers traditionally decorated rooms with a balcony. Storms River Guest Lodge features an outdoor pool, and free private parking. For a small, single bed room it was still quite spacious, with a wardrobe and desk, and ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and the option to order my preferred meal was appreciated, in addition to the lovely buffet. The village had several dinner options, and menus for each were available to peruse before deciding where to go, most were in easy walking distance. It was easy to find and the staff were all lovely.

With Assegaaibos Railway Station reachable in 800 metres, Assegaaibosch Country Lodge provides accommodation, a restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness centre and a garden. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. The lodge is beautiful and in a lovely rural location. Perfectly located for the activities around. We thought it was excellent value for money and wish we were able to stay longer.

The spacious and uniquely decorated bedrooms open to the fynbos gardens and salt water pool. All rooms at Tsitsikhaya Lodge have mountain or forest views. Other amenities include tea and coffee making facilities. The hosts were incredibly nice and funny. They recommended us some activities along our tour. The room was spacious and well equipped. Everything was very clean and the garden is lovely. Also breakfast was delicious. We really had a great time, thank you!
